The AEP Foundation has contributed $50,000 to the Be Pro Be Proud 2017 Arkansas Tour to bring a Mobile Workshop to 15-18 year-old Arkansas youth that focuses on tools to discuss career opportunities in the technical fields of targeted industries.

“Hands-on simulators and STEM-based games in the traveling program are interesting for the students who will soon be entering the workforce,” said Bradley Hardin with SWEPCO. “Be Pro Be Proud helps to solve the skills gap facing Arkansas, which can lead to economic prosperity for the State.”

High Schools, two-year colleges and technical schools can reach out to request a tour stop. For more information see http://beprobeproud.org.
